# Shipment limit

> Prevent orders from being split into multiple shipments

## Overview

The shipment limit feature allows you to control how orders are fulfilled by preventing them from being split into multiple shipments.

## How it works

When enabled, all items in an order must ship from the same location. Orders that cannot be fulfilled from a single location will be blocked at checkout.

## Configuration options

* **Always** - All orders are limited to a single shipment
* **Conditional** - Only enforce when the cart meets specific conditions based on total quantity or total amount
